1. Scope and eligibility

“TribeLink,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the TribeLink services. This policy applies when you use TribeLink’s app, website, profiles, posts, Struts, Stories, Live, messages, games, events, Business tools, creator features, purchases, Props, support, and related services.

Adults only. TribeLink is for people age 18 or older. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may restrict or remove it and take steps required by law.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

This may include your name, username, email, optional phone number, birth year, sex, password or sign-in credential, photos, biography, interests, city, website, dating preferences, verification information, content, messages, support requests, event records, and settings.

Information from your use

We may collect device model, operating system, app version, language, IP address, time zone, security and notification identifiers, login activity, feature interactions, crash information, network events, and diagnostic logs. With permission, TribeLink may access your location, camera, microphone, photos or media library, and notifications.

Social and recommendation signals

We may use follows, friendships, blocks, likes, saves, comments, views, searches, game activity, event activity, and content interests to rank and personalize TribeLink experiences.

3. Google sign-in data

When you choose Sign in with Google, Google may provide TribeLink with basic profile information that you authorize: your name, email address, profile photo, and a Google account identifier. TribeLink uses that information only to create, authenticate, secure, and recover your TribeLink account, and to prefill basic profile details.

  • We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, or other private Google service content.
  • We do not sell Google user data.
  • We do not use Google user data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Authentication records may be processed and securely stored by our authentication provider, Supabase, and its infrastructure providers.

You may revoke TribeLink’s Google access from your Google Account security settings. You may also request deletion inside TribeLink Settings or by emailing privacy@tribelink.app.

4. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; provide profiles, feeds, discovery, dating, messages, calls, Live, events, groups, TribeSpark, TribePlay, tickets, Business tools, filters, effects, coins, and Props; personalize recommendations; deliver notifications; verify purchases; provide support; detect fraud and abuse; enforce rules; maintain records; measure reliability; and improve the service.

Depending on your location and the activity, our legal basis may be performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or compliance with a legal obligation.

5. When information is shared

With other people

Information is visible according to the feature and audience you choose. Public profiles, posts, Struts, Stories, games, event listings, comments, rankings, creator effects, and Live content may be visible broadly. Recipients may save or reshare content they receive.

With service providers

We use providers for hosting, database, authentication, storage, real-time communications, notifications, maps, purchases, app distribution, analytics, security, support, and payments. Providers may include Supabase, Agora, Expo, RevenueCat, Stripe, Apple, Google, and their infrastructure providers.

For legal and safety reasons

We may preserve, access, or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with valid legal process; enforce rules; investigate fraud, abuse, threats, exploitation, or illegal activity; protect users or the public; or establish or defend legal claims.

6. Your choices and rights

You can edit profile information, choose audiences, manage location and notification settings, remove connections, block users, delete eligible content, and initiate account deletion. Your device settings control camera, microphone, photos, location, and push-notification permissions.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. We may need to verify your identity. TribeLink does not sell personal information for money and does not currently use third-party advertising SDKs for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Security, retention, and international processing

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and encrypted network connections. No service can guarantee perfect security.

We retain information only as reasonably needed to provide the service, keep transaction and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent repeat abuse, and meet legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory duties. Limited copies may remain temporarily in backups. TribeLink and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

8. Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy as TribeLink, our technology, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
